Northwest Live Well At Home is a program that is funded by a grant called “Live Well At Home”. NWCA, a non-profit organization in the four county areas of Kittson, Lake of the Woods, Marshall, and Roseau, has been awarded this grant and is ready to implement its funding to the designated target market. We are very excited to introduce the focus of this grant. It is designed to identify and administer the much needed “rest or respite” to the caregivers of loved ones who have made the decision to stay in their own homes. These people do their best to keep them at home for various reasons, it being financial, or wishing to keep them in a familiar caring environment (we are here to help). Our main emphasis will be rest for the care givers of loved ones 55 and older with minimal medical needs. In addition to this, we will be offering various forms of companionship to the client, or loved one, who is currently in their own home, and would benefit from a little TLC.
